We started working with Skupina FABRIKA d.o.o. in the field of satisfaction measurement in 2014, when we started introducing the E-Qalin quality model into our Home. In the five years of cooperation, we have learned a great deal from the experts from Skupina FABRIKA, because in addition to individual satisfaction analyses, various explanations, presentations and trainings were prepared for us. Through years of monitoring the satisfaction of all the target groups in our Home, we managed to identify our strengths and our weaknesses. Our measures to improve the quality are therefore more targeted and based on realistic data, which we closely monitor. The staff of Skupina FABRIKA is quick to respond to our proposals and always helps us find appropriate answers to our questions. They provide expert advice in finding solutions and help us interpret individual data.

Retirement home Dom upokojencev Šmarje pri Jelšah has been involved with Skupina FABRIKA d.o.o. since the very beginning of the development of the E-Qalin model in Slovenia. This cooperation, of course with the involvement of other partners in the project, has helped to develop the model as well as the satisfaction monitoring through repeated changes, revisions and continuous improvement. Nowadays, satisfaction monitoring in social protection institutions has reached the desired point, i.e. the findings and results help individual institutions in self-assessment, help them identify the desires of key groups, what level of satisfaction is achieved in individual processes, and at the same time they orient them to the areas where processes need to be changed. All this in the desire to achieve the greatest satisfaction. Particularly interesting is the comparison between institutions, which leads us to think about where we stand compared to similar institutions and why this is so. Flexibility, development orientation and listening to users of their services are characteristics of Skupina FABRIKA and provide a good partnership.
We have been cooperating with Skupina FABRIKA d.o.o. since 2007, when we started implementing the E-Qalin model in order to monitor the quality of our services. The “operator”, who analyses the collected data and presents the obtained analyses in the annual satisfaction surveys, was and still is crucial. I think it is crucial that the programs are prepared and work “easily and understandably” for users with average computer skills. Our experience also shows that in case of need for additional help and interpretation, it is always possible to count on the employees of Skupina FABRIKA.

Since 2012, we have been involved in the survey of satisfaction of residents, relatives and employees, and in a joint annual comparative analysis of homes, prepared and analysed by Skupina FABRIKA d.o.o. from Ljutomer. Individual analysis helps us evaluate the results we have obtained and, in this way, plan for improvements in poorly-rated indicators classified under critical elements. Equally, comparative analysis of homes is a path that does not allow us to sleep and slow down, but is geared toward progress. Skupina FABRIKA d.o.o. from Ljutomer works professionally and ethically. They are accessible and respond quickly. Their presentations of satisfaction surveys, presented several times in our Home, were based on extensive knowledge and enthusiasm. Although we changed some quality management paths, we still kept the questionnaires of satisfaction of all involved, prepared and analysed by Skupina FABRIKA.

A satisfaction measurement research model is an exceptional instrument for our quality field, as it is based on measuring two dimensions: satisfaction with a particular service and its importance. Indeed, from analysing a set of questions we obtain clear definitions of weak and strong areas and, consequently, in-depth insight into the potential for improvement and development. At the same time, it allows us to monitor trends in individual outcomes, take a closer look at areas of satisfaction, and compare them with other organizations involved.
